Jacqueline Mannering is one tremendously talented guitarist. She has it all, the look and the ability to shred on her Dean Razorback which looks almost as big as she is. In fact, she has an endorsement from Dean guitars.
She hails from Blackheath, England and is only 19 years old. She is also a self taught guitarist who is a southpaw that plays right handed. Just check out the video. It is AMAZING.

She’s not self taught. She progressed through the Greenwich Music Service saturday instrumental lessons then onto their ‘rock school’. Something that’s inexplicably kept quiet from the ‘media’.
As if it matters whether or not she’s received formal training. The fact of the matter is, all of her practice has obviously paid off. This girl is as good or better than most guitarist’s playing on stage on this or any night. All praise due should be generously allotted…

Yeah really… You either don’t like her style or you gotta be jealous to not like the way she plays.. She’s got rhythm, feel, and she’s DEF got the talent to back it all up.

hi i saw your post on the ultimate guitar forum when i was trying to understand all the hype about this girl. Where’s the video of you doing any better? Where’s all your fans? -looks around- don’t see any.She got all her fans by being over hyped. What a dumb argument. And to say that most guitarists aren’t as good as her is really just wrong on so many levels. The point is she is overhyped and if it were a guy playing guitar in that “shredding” video, there wouldn’t be any fans, because nobody would fucking care because its not a girl playing.
I’m not saying I’m any better. For 1) I never studied at any university yet, 2) I”m not one of those douchers ripping on her for no reason.. 3) I”ve only been playing for 1.5 yrs… Give it some time and I’m sure I’ll get some fans.
I don’t care who it is in a video… A person’s a person. To like someone because of gender, race, religion, whatever… Yeah that’s messed up. But unfortunatly that’s how the world is… Personally, I like her style. I haven’t heard someone play with the unique style and sound she’s got.
To your “wouldn’t be any fans” point: I bet there would still be some… But you’re probably right.. Some people probably like her just for the sole fact that she’s a girl. Like I said, that’s not why I like her, but that’s one persons opinion.
And I’m sure that there are some guitarists out there that she could totally out shred. IDK anyone off the top of my head, but dude, if you go watch the solo videos, you gotta admit that it’s pretty cool.. I like the sound of it at least.. And I know someone else has to as well.

You’ve actually inspired me because one day I was on YouTube searching for a reason to continue playing and I saw how amazing you are andd it inspired me… But that was awhile back when I tried to learn sweep picking a bit to early… Be confident. does anyone know the tabs to her song raining some of us are beginner guitarist who want to learn and guys stop being stuipd shes good dont get mad because some people tell you you have guitar skills and say you should be famous and your not just accept her and respect you fellow guitarist bring each other up not down and serisouly guys the guitar tabs and tuning
Tuning is standard E…. Tabs? Not sure if anyone has done that yet.. I’ve searched high, low, middle, and even higher and lower but couldn’t find any.
I’ll keep you posted though.

you rock jacqueline! iv been playing for about 14yrs. iv seen alot of guitarists out there. but it only took you as litt;e as 4 to 8 yrs to learn as others that iv known took as many as 10 to 20 yrs and even they have a hard time learning. all props to you. good job

there are some of these peeps that have a sm. little way of thinking that they really matter when they say some one suck’s cuz, they want to be better then suckin’ zero themselves.

I’m a jazz trumpeter, so I know literally nothing about how technically difficult the stuff you do on the guitar is… But it sounds phenomenal! Maybe a jazz-shredding mash up??? Hmmmmm…
