Guitarist Rokas Jackūnas from Pasvalys Lithuania gets some really great guitar tones and can play his electric guitar amazingly fast. He has recently been chosen as a finalist on the television show “Ring of Talents” which he performed one of his original works, “Dimensions”
From his bio:
Hi. My name is Rokas Jackūnas. I’m 18 years old now. I was born in a township called Pasvalys in north of Lithuania.
I think I was 13 years when I started to play. I went to Yamaha music school in my tonwship. There was great guitar teacher Juozas Balčiūnas. I was exited by his playing and after two lessons I bought my first acoustic guitar.
Previously I played in some rock and metal bands. Every year I have few performances with my friends and “one concert projects” on feasts in my town.
2009 years was very exciting because on April i released Demo album called “Magic journey” and on May I reached second place in international guitarists contest “Gitaru selsmas 09″. Furthermore i recorded a song with hiphop band “Rūkas” which you can hear at their album. Now I am free hired guitarist.
