As a musician of over 50 years, having listened to and played with many great musicians, I have to say Jess Lewis blows me away. She plays like a veteran, she’s just amazing, and has so much talent. Good luck for the future.

Hello! I like your musical thinking, and your jazz style guitar playing. I´m also playing the guitar back from 2006, when I was 15 years old. In one period I played the violin too. My style is something between jazz-fusion-soothing-rock-instrumental.
What else to say… just keep up the good work.
Greeting from Croatia!

Jess, you are a brilliant musician! When I stumbled across one of your videos on YouTube, my mind couldn’t believe what my ears were hearing. I went straight to Itunes to buy every recording you had. I can’t wait to hear some original tunes from you. I will wait but it’s not going to be easy. Good luck with your bright future!

Dave Austin January 7, 2012 at 6:46 pm

Speechless! Nice to see amazing young talent. Best I’ve seen since the Stones in ’62!

Ronnie February 12, 2012 at 1:41 pm

Jess Lewis is phenomenal!

danny March 4, 2012 at 11:38 pm

Jess, You have REALLY become one of the finest guitar players EVER! Bravo! You inspire me to play at your level…one day. Thanks for the amazing trax and keep jammin’. I love watching those busy fingers crankin’ out the tunes. You’re up there with Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler, Chet Atkins…all of the life long players…and you’re bangin’ ‘em out at 16 years old. WOW…keep it up. You’re awesome.

Steve March 30, 2012 at 9:39 pm

Stumbled onto your videos on utube and was blown away! You have a unique style and would encourage you to keep listening and keep practicing. You have great range and a very raw presentation. I mean this in the most positive way. When I listened to early Methany it had a similar feeling where it was frenetic youthful and exciting. Your playing has that same excitement. I wish I was you. Best wishes.

Roberto "Martin" Martimbianco April 3, 2012 at 7:55 pm

Hallo Jesse. Like TonyW I’m not young fan but over 60 and played guitar for 30 year (nothing like your way of playing but enough to understand what is easy and what impossible for human being) .
I started to follow music and international rock and jazz concert on 1966, Beatles, Stones, Yardbirds, Cream, Zappa, Hendricks, Stern, Di Meola, Metheny (my best) Santana…. I let to count after 460….and at last I arrived to be boring to ear music because all is “deja vu et deja entendu”. To find your presence in Youtube and looking how you play let me so impressed and at last surprise having found some of interesting and astounding.
I called all my friend guitarist giving the links of Utube and we discussed about who can have teach or help you to play. I love many guitarist but looking you I had really a great emotion: You represent the way I sould like to play . So thank you so much for that and, please, don’t get lost on popularity or satisfaction in case of success (that you deserve……but very dangerous for artistic inspiration and personal growth). I will follow you and I’m certain You will continue to surprise us with your cleverness….and I hope You don’t lose your comely shyness…..maybe you don’t believe you’r great…? No problem, many people knows……you only continue to play and we will confirm you.
I apologize for my aproximate english (i speak better Spanish, French, Portuguese) but I hope it is comprehensible.
Best regards from Italia. Ciao e grazie

Well Jezzy Lewis,
Not much to say that hasn’t been said. I just love your whole aura around the guitar. I think you are amazing and really hope that fame and fortune don’t get the better of you . Because you are all about the music, you are music and don’t ever give up because you will be making music like no one has heard before…Could you be the modern guitar Mozart ? I hope so because we could be looking at history in the making. Keep true to what you are doing and what you want Jess. You are an inspiration. Blessed Be XXX

Hi Jess!
I stumbled upon you while listening to some Guthriestuff on youtube…
He’s one of my housegods, i adore him. As you do, i presume.

It’s a very beautiful feeling when you are absolutly in awe, and that you’d gladly surrender your guitar to someone as talented as you. That is what i feel when you play. It actually beats me how the hell you do it? It’s so much more than just technique.
Something i’ll never be able to pull off. I would love to see and hear more from you, you are one of the best i’ve EVER heard! Big love from Sweden

Carlos Omar Colturi June 13, 2013 at 4:45 am

Hello!! I’m from Brazil and I’m 53 years old. Thanks for your powerful sound … congratulations on your taste: music, style and setting the tone of your guitars (I love stratocasters). People like you make us play guitar again. I’ll buy a new stratocaster (The name will be JESS) and I’ll play your sounds (I will try)! I was very happy and glad to see a sweet as you, playing jazz, rock … and showing a lot of talent and knowledge. Addicted to hear your videos on Youtube! Cool you like Guthrie, “This Town Needs Guns” … Please post more videos … If you come to Brazil, you can stay at my house with my family! A big hug! Florez

Hugh Crawford November 16, 2013 at 7:14 am

What can I say……….
I’ve been playing for near 50 years now and what you are doing now puts me to shame.
I don’t know whether to be inspired and keep going or sell up and hide. lol
You have an amazing natural feel for the instrument and will be an amazing inspiration for many more young guitarist in the future, of that I’m sure.
Thanks for your examples on Youtube.
Hugh from Scotland.
