Flying V Electric Guitar Review – Guide to Affordable King and Rhoades Style V Guitars

Post image for Flying V Electric Guitar Review – Guide to Affordable King and Rhoades Style V Guitars

Here is a quick review of several  affordable Flying V type electric guitars that will get you all the raging metal tone you need without emptying your wallet.

Most V style guitars are variations on the 1958 Gibson Flying V.  Later, an offset version was made popular by Randy Rhoades, the Jackson Rhoades V, and a more pointed symmetrical Jackson King V.  There have been many other variations by Dean, Esp, Schecter among other electric guitar companies.

Some of my favorites are those produced by Douglas and Agile that are distributed by Rondo Music Online.

The combination of really good build quality and low prices make these an intelligent choice for your sonic arsenal.

Here is a quick guide to several models and specs and price ranges of several Flying V style guitars that are available at Rondo Music Online.

My review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxJSv9OejhA Haven’t listened to much of the album yet but I always get the feeling that critics give them too much credit. Even those that don’t like it say that it might just take time to grow, .

This was also the second show of theirs I’ve seen that ended with Bill Stephens tossing his Flying-V guitar to the ground and walking off stage! Which brings me to Dropkick Murphys. I’ve seen DKM twice before, and like OWTH, both were in venues smaller
