Douglas Guitars are some pretty decent cheap electric guitars from Rondo Music.
I got a really cool one from them the other day, a Douglas Hawker, which had three humbuckers and a nice transparent red finish. It just plays and feels really good. I love my Rondo Guitar.
They have a lot of flying V style axes as well as LP and Tele Style instruments.
Here are some of their flying V shaped guitar series:
The Douglas Halo is an explorer shaped guitar that is priced from $99.99 to $139.95
The flying V models have several different names such as Octanis, Draco, WH1, SIV 45, and Fulcrum. All of them are priced from $99.95 to $149.95. Not bad considering that some of them have Floyd Rose trem units.
Available from Rondo Music
The Douglas Zeke is their SG shaped guitar that is priced from $99.99 to $149.95
The Douglas Spad and WRL 590 are two contemporary designs that have sleeker necks and ar priced from $149.95 to $199.95.
The Douglas Shadow is their LP style line which are priced from$119.95 to $189.95
Available from Rondo Music
Douglas Guitars have two lines of tele style guitars, the WF and TL. Which are generally priced from $129.95 to $149.95
They also have the short scale Perago Traveler which costs $99.95
Available from Rondo Music
That is it, short and sweet. Like the Rondo Douglas Guitars a lot.

Great guitars for the cash .I upgraded the bridge pickup an I swear I was playing a Jackson.
I had a few parts go out on me . How do I contact to see about getting them replaced?

bought a douglas shadow. damaged in shipping from cheap box, pickups don’t work, jack broken, buzzing neck. other than that it’s terrific…for hanging on the wall, but not playing.
Sounds like shipping damage, Mine arrived just fine, have had it one year and is starting to get that “broken in” feel on the neck…
Rondomusic is very good at exchanges and returns. Every guitar is shipped with an invoice that states if there is a problem with the shipment, call or email them immediately!
Bought Douglas left hand Halo.volume pot shorting out-frets buzzing-jack falling out-will not stay in tune-looked great.smashed it during a party.
i own 2 different guitars from rondo ; the draco in which i put emgs and this thing kicks ass!! and the white explorerish looking guitar which i also put actives in , they are both set neck and really play sweet kurt at rondo music is very kool dude had a few convos with him!! why spend 1000 dollars when u can buy one at rondo and do minor upgrades and have yourself a really decent guitar!!
Been playing for 30 + yrs. I am privledged enough to own fenders, gibsons, and gretsch guitars. In my heart I always knew the was a cheap guitar out the as good as the big name’s. My son ordered a SX les paul copy a couple years ago. The only thing I found wrong was some binding glue on the body. No big deal. I was impressed with the quality. I ordered a Douglas WRL 590 floyd na. At first, i liked it but played it little
due to tuning/ action issues. Really good workmanship on body, good looks, neck through body mahogany, grovers, floyd rose, what a deal!! but the issues! Then it dawned on me. Add a additional spring to the trem. Problem solved. This axe is a hoot to play! I highly recommend this guitar!!!
I now have several Rondo guitars Douglas and SX, SX resonator
and they all play easy and sound great. I find they are made great
with no flaws. Really enjoy them. I’m am not a pro.
I retired to a full time hobby repairing, rebuilding, restoring & modifying affordable electric guitars. Own a Douglas Spad and another setneck natural, a Strat like model with a Floyd Rose. Used or new ALL guitars need some attention after being shipped or brought home from wherever. I’ve found the Douglas models to be high value for the buck; they are outstanding. Mine have required very little attention at all. Nice to know where they come from (Rondo) – I suspected they were a bargain line from Ed Roman Guitars, they are simply that nice.
I am a pro studio musician, live and work in Nashville where Everybody plays guitar! I own over 20 guitars and no telling how many I’ve bought and sold. I recently started hearing about SX Guitars. I’m a hard nose Tele man and wanted a good back up for road dates etc. I bought the SX Furman for $89.00. I have been blown away ever since getting it out of the box. Can’t put it down! I really have expected to pay way more for a guitar like this. I changed the strings and that was it. I would dare anyone to tell me which guitar I’m playing without looking! I am looking forward to buying a few more very soon.
