Blues Guitarist Kurt HDenBlues – Underground Guitarist of the Day

Kurt (HDenBlues) from Belgium is one of the most amazing electric blues guitarists that I have come across on Youtube. Armed with his Strat, a small Marshall amp and his JVC camcorder, he cooks up some electrifying blues that just pull emotion out of every note. From His bio:

If you’re into all kinds of Blues… Then you did come to the right page…
Mostly Electric Guitar-Solo’s, …slow, medium, major, minor, rough, sweet, new, old, and more… You’ll see !!! But “always”… BLUES )) I guess, i like to play “Slower-Blues” the most, cause for me it’s the best way to express “feelings” at “that” moment of playin’ … I was born in Belgium 1965, i’ve bin playin’ guitar since i was 14… I starded playin’ “the Blues” and i’m still “trying” to play it eversince !!!
Also Dobro-Slide and accoustic Blues-guitar… I just starded slide & lapsteel, end 2008 (much to late…) ;-(((

-Resonator Guitars…

-The stringGauge of my Stratocaster’s is… ERNIE BALL-Beefy Slinky 0.11>>>0.54…

-My “recording-set” is very simple & primitive; Just a Cam-corder, JVC…

I have a lot of favorite Guitar- players and Bluesmen, old & new-skool-Blues,… I don’t realy wanna copy these guy’s, so i try mostly to play my own style, but ofcourse… I’m sure you can hear my many influences ))

One more thing is, …don’t let my weird and ugly “faces” (while i’m playin’), scare you, (…haha), they’re quite harmless )) but i allready figgered out, it’s like i can’t do without them…lol ))
